"No Child Left Inside" Campaign

No Child Left InsideGet Kids Outside Pledge Drive
Nature deficit disorder afflicts too many students glued to their computer screens, TVs and cell phones. Help CURE get students outdoors!

At CURE, our goal is to inspire a new generation of river advocates. We get students on the river, we organize clean ups, nature hikes and history walks. We help students to learn about environmental issues and to testify at hearings. We use our office as a Main Street classroom where students and others can learn about what it will take to get clean water and bring about a renewable energy based economy. We engage students in fixing up old buildings and creating trails that can be used for recreation, tourism and environmental education.

Our goal is to have no child left inside! We need to raise $25,000 by May 15, 2010 to fund our efforts to make canoes, kayaks, guides and buses available to operate our "No Child Left Inside" campaign for 2010!

CURE is a statewide leader in the effort to make the Minnesota River a place to be proud of once again. Please support us with your generous donations today!
